Below we have listed a few of the most common questions we are asked by patients using our systems.

Hopefully this will make your use of your bedside system much easier. However, if you do have further questions, please feel free to call our customer care team, who are available 24/7.

You can either contact us for free using the telephone on our bedside systems, or if you have any questions before or after your hospital stay simply call 0345 414 1234.

To use any of our services including free TV. Radio and calls to landlines (numbers beginning 01, 02, 03), to add credit and purchase entertainment packages you’ll need to create an account.

To set up your account, we only ask for your initial, last name and date of birth.

This information secures your account, stops others using your credit or entertainment package and allows you to transfer your credit or entertainment package if you move beds during your hospital stay.

Your personal details are safe and will not be shared with anyone.

There are a wide range of TV channels and movies available.

These vary by hospital and also by the type of system you have at your bedside, as well as the entertainment package that you may wish to purchase.

However, channels 1-5 are freely available between 8am and 12 noon in most hospitals (7am until 7pm in childrens wards) as is hospital radio where available, and unlimited outbound phonecalls to UK landlines starting 01, 02 or 03.

Some of our bedside system have a remote control built into the handset, and others are touch-screen.

Please refer to the instructions on your individual bedside system for further information.

Free services include:

  • Free TV between 8am and 12 noon (7am to 7pm in childrens wards) in most hospitals
  • Free unlimited outbound phonecalls to 01, 02, and 03 landline numbers
  • Free radio all day every day.

 

Our paid services vary by availability at your hospital and include:

  • TV and movie bundles
  • Sky Sports Bundles
  • Internet Access

There are a wide range of packages available to suit different requirements and lengths of stay. These vary by hospital and the type of bedside system you have, so please refer to your specific system for further details or call our Customer Care Team on 0345 414 1234.

You can call our Customer Care Team anytime using the telephone on the bedsdie system and pay by credit or debit card. Alternatively, most hospitals will have vending machines that take cash and will issue you with a paycard to upload credit to your account.

Alternatively, once registered, you can you use the Hospedia Mobile App available to download free from itunes or Google Play.

If you haven't used all of your credit or bundle and would like a refund, please call our customer care team and they will arrange this for you.

Please note, that refunds can only be given for purchases made by credit or debit card, and can only be returned to the same card.

If you are moving beds, simply log out of your current bedside when you move, and log in with the same details (initial, surname and date of birth) on the new bed, and your account, and any remaining credit or bundle, will be transfered with you!

If you need headphones, please ask your ward nurse who should be able to provide you with some.

Alternatively with our systems you are able to use your own headphones as they have standard jack sockets.

We provide a range of surveys that can be accessed through the main menu of the beside system. Alternatively, please do not hesitate to pick up the handset and speak to our 24/7 contact cfentre.

All our surveys are confidential and will not be shared with any external companies.

Hospedia Data Statement

Welcome to Hospedia. We hope you enjoy using your entertainment and communication system.

When you use the Hospedia System we ask for a small amount of personal information so we don't confuse you with anyone else. Your information can be used whenever you move beds or return to any Hospedia hospital so you can keep your original number and we can get you started quickly.

Your information will be kept safely and we may call you to check your service requirements but your information will not be used for any other marketing purposes. You will not be contacted at home or by any other companies.

Your information may be used by the hospital so they can provide services you have requested or to help with hospital management and your bedside phone number will be available to family members, friends and other enquirers who know you are in hospital and are trying to reach you.

Please tell us if you do not want us to check your service requirements or make your bedside number made available to enquirers.

Calls with Hospedia may be recorded for training and security purposes.
